For this professional non-profit theatre company in Raleigh, NC, taught alongside previous education director Ian Finley for ShakeScenes and WillPower programs in primary and secondary schools around central North Carolina.

Hope College

As a visiting artist taught freshman seminar classes in performance, and directed six student performers in collaboration with artist/professor Billy Mayer to create performance installation, Skulls & Cars,  in conversation with sculpture and architecture in his sabbatical art show, entitled 440.

Raleigh Little Theatre

From 2009 - 2014 for the award winning education program at this WPA established community theatre, taught multiple classes per year to middle school and high school students on Shakespeare, movement for performance, or devising practices.

Holland High School

A contract hire by Holland High School for Holland Public School District, in Michigan to run the after school theatre program during fall/winter semester 2019.  Taught students Shakespeare scoring and vocal performance, basic stage acting skills, and gendered body performance techniques, and worked with a sub-contracted choreographer to teach 1920’s social dance hybrid contemporary dance.   Produced A Midsummer Night’s Dream set in a speakeasy in the 1920’s with live jazz, blues & Charleston dancing fairies.

James Madison University School of Theatre and Dance

Visiting Artist in 2017 and previously as a guest teacher in 2009

Hired to choreograph for their resident repertory dance company’s annual concert, and teach classes in physical theatre, dance improv, professional development for the alternative performer, and devising. And in London on their study abroad program to teach character development for dancers.
